President Chen Juyu invited to visit NHD

On Mar 7, 2012, Mr. Chen Juyu, president of Shenyang Xiehe Group, was invited to visit New Horizons Diagnostic Corporation in USA. The two parties discussed about product cooperation, technical cooperation and other matters as well.
Presently, there is a phenomenon of antibiotics abuse in China’s breeding industry because of pursuing economic interests. Overuse of antibiotics will not only cause drug residue but also transmit the drug-resistant genes in bacteria to human beings. It will increase the difficulty in preventing animal diseases and cause the increase of bacterial dug resistance in humans as well.
Shenyang Xiehe Group will develop the bacteriopage project together with NHD. They will produce super-antibiotics, filling a gap in domestic and overseas market. The super-antibiotics will replace antibiotics and be used in the infections common to animal husbandry and aquaculture such as bovine mastitis and blue-ear pig disease.
